We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Research Dialogues series, an initiative of the Business for Society PhD Students aimed at creating a regular space for academic exchange, discussion, and feedback within our research community.

The first seminar of the new series will feature Sana Rehmat, third-year PhD student of our PhD Programme, currently visiting at Loyola University Chicago.

Sana will present her research titled:

Have You Lived Through the Story? Exploring the Limitations of Inclusion in Virtual Versus Human Influencer Marketing

The study examines how AI-generated virtual influencers affect storytelling in disability-focused influencer marketing, exploring how source credibility and narrative transportation shape emotional attachment, brand attitudes, and willingness to buy.

The seminar will take place on Wednesday, May 27, from 09:00 to 10:30, in hybrid mode: in person in Room 4151, U7, 4th floor, and online via Webex.
