Starting by the presentation of the results of the first phase of SPOT project “Potentially triggerable offshore seismicity and tsunami”, a scientific dialogue will be promoted between international experts from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Institute of Geophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the German Research Centre for Geosciences, the National Geophysical Research Institute of India and several technical specialists in order to draw the future perspective of this scientific field.
The SPOT project is realized in the framework of the Network CLYPEA of the DGS UNMIG, Italian Ministry of Economic Development, with the technical support of the Department of Civil Protection and in collaboration with four of the main Italian research institute (INGV, CNR ISMAR, RELUIS and EUCENTRE).
