MaUnimib

Maunimib initiates and coordinates a number of research observatories that have been developed through in-depth relationships with private, non-profit, and public sector organizations.  Their aim is to foster dialogue and the co-planning of solutions that involve both the University and the local economic and social system. Moreover, MaUnimib researchers carry out research in a variety of fields as they rely on a multi-disciplinary set of competences (examples of research areas are listed below).

WBR-Lab

WBR-Lab is a research laboratory for the measurement of the value created by corporate welfare policies.

Wbr-Lab was born out of a collaboration between the MaUnimib Group and a private company - Valore Welfare - which specializes in consulting for the planning and implementation of corporate welfare plans.

The goal of WBR-Lab is to develop a framework to assess the impact of Corporate Welfare Programs with the aim, in particular, to identify a methodology that is suitable to measure the "creation of value" (from the viewpoint of the firm) of the Corporate Welfare and Flexible Benefit Policies adopted by companies.

The Lab involves a group of partner companies from different sectors and sizes, which share a commitment to implement corporate welfare plans for their employees, and an interest in being able to measure such plans’ returns for the company. The experience of the Milan-Bicocca University team in the field of Human Resource Management, the direct experience of Valore Welfare, and the contribution of the participating companies will allow for the definition of a shared and applicable methodology in various types of organizations.

Employability Lab

Developed in collaboration with ELAN, a consultancy firm working in the field of human capital development, the EMPLOYABILITY-Lab is a research laboratory for the measurement and management of employability policies within companies.

Employability identifies people's ability to find a job and achieve a sustainable career path over time.

For individuals, strengthening their employability means knowing how to seize the opportunities offered by the current context and that are useful for their own development, both inside and outside their specific working context. For companies, supporting employability means strengthening their human capital and, at the same time, addressing workers’ growing need for occupational security. In this sense, employability represents a strategic lever that allows to enhance a company's intangible resources and to consolidate the relationship of trust between the company, its employees and all stakeholders.
